PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a virtual image display system that enables natural communication.SOLUTION: A virtual image display system 1 is designed to display a virtual image on a stage 73 by installing a beam splitter 74 between audience seats 76 and the stage 73, and comprises a virtual image projection surface 20 which is disposed on a surface parallel to a floor 72 having the audience seats 76 arranged thereon to have a virtual image projected thereon, and a real image projection surface 60 which is disposed on a surface facing the virtual image projection surface 20 with the beam splitter 74 in between to have a real image and virtual image projected thereon.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
