Abstract:
To increase the number of regions to which an adjusting image is to be transferred on an intermediate transfer means more when transferring the adjusting image to the intermediate transfer means, than when control means is not provided to conduct a control so that an image made of a less visible toner will be located on the uppermost layer of the adjusting image.SOLUTION: The present invention includes: intermediate transfer means for holding an image to be transferred to a recording medium; image formation means for forming an adjustment image; transfer means for transferring the adjustment image formed by the image formation means on the intermediate transfer means; and control means for conducting a control so that the image made of a less visible toner will be located on the uppermost layer of the adjustment image, when transferring the adjustment image on the intermediate transfer means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
