Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide lithium-containing compound oxide, a cathode active material and a cathode for a lithium ion secondary battery, capable of providing a lithium ion secondary battery having good cycle property even when charged at high voltage, and to provided a lithium ion secondary battery having good cycle property even when charged at high voltage.SOLUTION: There is provided the lithium-containing compound oxide which is represented by LiNiCoMnMO( M=Mg, Ca, Al, Ti, V, Nb, Mo, W or Zr, a+b+c+d+e=2, a=1.01 to 1.10, b=0.30 to 0.95, c=0 to 0.35, d=0 to 0.35, e=0 to 0.05 and in which a ratio of integrated intensity (I) of a peak of a (104) face to integrated intensity ((I) of a peak of a (110) face in an X-ray diffraction pattern obtained by a reflection method X-ray diffraction using a Cu-Kα ray, (I/I) is 4.20 or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
