PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent players from becoming confused and incurring disadvantages even in a situation where an off-line state happens due to an occurrence of a communication trouble.SOLUTION: When a counting/lending unit 2 receives a member card 10 in an off-line state where a communication between a management device 5 is unavailable, the unit makes a notification that a credited balance stored in the member card 10 itself can be used, and also makes a notification that holding balls and deposited balls being stored in the management device 5 cannot be used but newly acquired holding balls can be used even in an off-line state by storing them in a general card 9. The invention makes it possible for players possessing the member card 10 to deal with the situation without becoming confused even in an off-line state so as to prevent them from incurring disadvantages.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
