Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a joint molded article having no danger for damages of a heating body.SOLUTION: A joint molded article (50) is manufactured by molding a pair of semi-molded articles (48, 49) having joint terminal surfaces (48a, 49a) by mold closing a stationary side mold (14) and a slide mold (15), leaving one on the stationary side mold (14) and another on the slide mold (15) to open the mold, sliding the slide mold (15) to force a pair of the semi-molded articles (48, 49), deriving a mold closing device (5) to approximate the joint terminal surfaces (48a, 49a) to a prescribed interval, noncontactly inserting a heating body (38) of a carbon heater, removing the same and closing the mold and jointing the joint terminal surfaces (48a, 49a). In the mold closing process, the stationary side mold (14) and the slide mold (15) is optically monitored from a direction practically parallel to a parting surfaces (21, 22) and floating of the semi-molded articles (48, 49) from the molds (14, 15) is detected. Molding cycle is stopped when floating is large.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
