Abstract:
There is provided a heated aerosol-generating article comprising a plurality of elements including an aerosol-forming substrate assembled within a wrapper, the aerosol-forming substrate being in the form of a rod having a diameter of between 6.5 mm and 8.5 mm. The rod is formed from a crimped and gathered sheet of aerosol-forming material, for example homogenised tobacco material, the sheet having a width of between 110 mm and 160 mm, a thickness of between 200 micrometres and 230 micrometres, and the sheet being crimped with a crimping depth of between 100 and 250 micrometres.
