Abstract:

To provide production methods of cellulose-containing materials and production methods of bioethanol with smaller environmental load.SOLUTION: Disclosed herein is a method for producing a cellulose-containing material comprising: (A) a step of delignification where a mixed solution containing a fatty acid (salt, derivative etc.) a solvent and a woody material is heated to extract the lignin contained in the woody material into the solvent; followed by (B) a step of solid-liquid separation where the cellulose-containing material is separated from the solution containing the lignin extracted from the woody material, the fatty acid and the solvent, where the mixed solution contains 10 pts.mass or more and not more than 100 pts.mass of the fatty acid based on 100 pts.mass of the solvent.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
