Abstract:
To provide a motor device having salient poles and capable of enhancing accuracy in detecting a rotational position of a rotor by a rotational position detection unit.SOLUTION: A rotor 23 includes a rotor core 41 having a plurality of salient poles, and a plurality of magnets 42 arranged between the salient poles at the outer periphery part of the rotor core 41. A rotational position detection unit 60 includes a magnetic detection element 62 arranged while facing, in a rotation axis C1 direction, an end face 41c of the rotor core 41 in the rotation axis C1 direction. The salient heights of the salient poles in the radial direction are larger than the half of the width of the magnets 42 in the radial direction at both ends in the circumferential direction. The magnetic detection element 62 is arranged at radially inner than a radial center C5 of the magnet 42 at both ends in the circumferential direction of the magnet 42.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
