Abstract:
To provide appropriate care to a patient by utilizing a robot while reducing a burden on healthcare workers.SOLUTION: A robot 10 includes: a speaking part 14 which speaks a message of a question to a patient when a patient state detection part 13 detects a prescribed state with a possibility of requiring nursing or care for a patient; a response state detection part 15 for detecting a response state of the patient to the speech; and a calling part 17 which calls a nurse call master unit when a state determining part 16 determines that the response state of the patient satisfies a prescribed condition. A part of talking work conventionally performed by a healthcare worker to the patient is replaced with the speech by the robot 10, and appropriate care is provided by calling the healthcare worker depending on the response state of the patient and also in a case where the patient does not respond to the question to the patient by the robot 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
