Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure container for hydrogen capable of effectively suppressing progression of a crack in the pressure container for hydrogen, and excellent in a safety, reliability and durability.SOLUTION: A pressure container for hydrogen is made of low-alloy steel whose tensile intensity is equal to or more than 725 MPa. On an inner surface side of a pressure container body for hydrogen, a plastic region is provided; on an outer surface side, an elastic region is provided; and on the inner surface, compression residual stress occurs. Desirably, equivalent plastic distortion remaining on an internal surface of the pressure container body for hydrogen is equal to or less than 1%. The plastic region on the inner surface side in a radial direction of the pressure container body for hydrogen is equal to or less than 50%.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
