PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute recovery processing at the correct time in order to secure excellent printing quality.SOLUTION: A printer 1 includes: a head 2 which is configured to inject the first ink and the second ink with a less solid content amount than that of the first ink to a printing medium; a recovery part 6 which recovers the first ink injection performance of the head 2; and a CPU 70 which is provided so as to control the recovery processing by the recovery part 6. The CPU 70 acquires an integration value of the injection amount of the first ink. The CPU 70 decides execution of the recovery processing including wiping by the wiper 65 of a first injection hole surface 23 on which a first injection hole 24 for injecting the first ink is opened when the integration value is equal to or greater than the reference value. The CPU 70 acquires a temperature correspondence value corresponding to an environmental temperature. The CPU 70 sets the reference value on the basis of the acquired temperature correspondence value so that the reference value in a case where the environmental temperature is the first temperature becomes smaller than the reference value in a case where the environmental temperature is the second temperature higher than the first temperature.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
