Abstract:
To provide a processing device capable of maintaining the desired processing quality even if the shape of a tool touching a workpiece changes.SOLUTION: The device performs processing on a workpiece 50 by touching the workpiece 50 with a tool 10. A shape sensor 30 detects the shape of the tool 10. Movement mechanism 20 supports at least one of the tool 10 and the workpiece 50, and changes the relative position and posture of the workpiece 50 relative to the tool 10 in accordance with an order from a controller 40, while the workpiece 50 is made to touch the tool 10. The controller 40 performs processing on the workpiece 50 by making the relative position and posture of the workpiece 50 relative to the tool 10 different depending on the shape of the tool 10 detected by the shape sensor 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
