Abstract:
To provide a rotary drive device having high reliability.SOLUTION: A rotary drive device includes a fixed portion, a moving portion, and a rotary body. The fixed portion has an oil passage. The moving portion is provided so as to be movable between a first relative position and a second relative position with respect to the fixed portion and to be reversibly movable between the first relative position with respect to the fixed portion and the second relative position with respect to the fixed portion, in accordance with a change in oil pressure in the oil passage. The rotary body is provided so as to be rotatable with respect to the fixed portion, and at the first relative position, conduction with the fixed portion is established via the moving portion, and at the second relative position, conduction with the moving portion is cut off.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2B
