Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition that achieves improvements in wet grip performance, and grip performance and wear resistance in a dried-up state, at high levels, and a tire comprising a tread composed of the rubber composition.SOLUTION: A rubber composition comprises a tackifier resin 5-70 pts.mass based on an elastomer component 100 pts.mass comprising a diene rubber 70-97 mass% and a styrenic thermoplastic elastomer 3-30 mass%. There is also provided a tire comprising a tread composed of the rubber composition.SELECTED DRAWING: None
