Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire rubber composition comprising heat-expansible microcapsules, the rubber composition having an improved level of on-ice frictional performance.SOLUTION: The rubber composition is characterized in that 100 pts.wt. of a diene rubber is blended with 0.5-15 pts.wt. of surface-treated heat-expansible microcapsules in which the surfaces of heat-expansible microcapsules carry silica.
