Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the labor of a user when a self-traveling apparatus is moved in a maintenance setting.SOLUTION: A service providing system comprises a self-traveling printer 10 that executes printing by moving to a destination location corresponding to an instruction, and a server for commanding printing to the self-traveling printer 10. The self-traveling printer 10 detects its own state and reports the detected state to the server 30. The server accepts a user's instruction for moving the self-traveling printer 10 to a maintenance area when the self-traveling printer 10 is in a state requiring maintenance, and also receives a report on the state of the self-traveling printer 10 from the self-traveling printer 10. If the self-traveling printer 10 is in a state requiring maintenance in light of the report received from the self-traveling printer 10, the server instructs the self-traveling printer 10 to move to the maintenance area.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
