Abstract:
To provide a sheet processing device capable of stopping a sheet-being-conveyed at a predetermined processing position even if the sheet conveying speed is high.SOLUTION: A sheet processing device comprises: a sheet conveying unit 11 which conveys a sheet 100 along a conveying path; an orthogonal direction processing unit 32 and 34 which is arranged on the downstream side of the conveying path and performs the processing of the sheet in the direction orthogonal to the conveying direction; a downstream position-sensor 52 which is arranged on the conveying path of the upstream side closest to the orthogonal direction processing unit in the conveying direction and detects the front end of the sheet; an upstream position-sensor 46 which is arranged on the conveying path of the upstream side of the downstream position-sensor in the conveying direction and detects the front end of the sheet; and a control unit 6 which controls operations of the sheet conveying unit and the orthogonal direction processing unit. The control unit controls a sheet conveying speed based on a detection result by the upstream position-sensor and controls the sheet conveying unit based on a detection result by the downstream position-sensor so that the sheet is located at the processing position of the orthogonal direction processing unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
