Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing apparatus for easily making adjustment for detecting ink without requiring any exclusive measuring instrument. SOLUTION: A detection pulse from a detection pulse generation means 3 in an ink-free state and a reference pulse from a reference pulse generation means 2 are fetched, a section (t) equivalent to the difference of the pulse widths is counted by a timer means 11, and the result is displayed at a display section 9, so that adjustment work may be made by monitoring a display result, operating a variable means 5, and adjusting the pulse width of the reference pulse, and the need for an exclusive measuring instrument such as an oscilloscope is eliminated, thus making the adjustment easy and making readjustment easy in the market.
