Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fabric and a fiber product which have heat resistance, lightness, weather resistance, and fabric flexibility after being exposed to flame and carbonized.SOLUTION: The fabric is obtained by using: a first yarn comprising meta-type wholly aromatic polyamide fibers and para-type wholly aromatic polyamide fibers in a mass ratio (meta-type wholly aromatic polyamide fiber/para-type wholly aromatic polyamide fiber) of 35/65-96/4 and comprising 5 mass% or more of polybenzoxazole fibers and/or polybenzimidazole fibers with respect to the mass of a yarn, and a mass ratio of the meta-type wholly aromatic polyamide fiber with respect to the polybenzoxazole fibers and/or polybenzimidazole fibers (mass of meta-type wholly aromatic polyamide fiber/(mass of polybenzoxazole fibers and/or polybenzimidazole fibers)) is 3 or more; and a second yarn comprising 90 mass% or more of para-type wholly aromatic polyamide fibers comprising 4-10 mass% of a black pigment or a black dye with respect to a fiber mass with respect to the mass of a yarn.
