Abstract:
A purpose of the present invention is to provide a thermoplastic fiber sheet suitable for the application of covering (e.g., winding) an object (e.g., a plurality of electric wires) and then heat-melting the object to cause the object to adhere (e.g., to be fixed), wherein during temporary fixation before the heat-melting, the end of the thermoplastic fiber sheet need only be fixed to a simple degree or need not be fixed at all. The present invention is a thermoplastic fiber sheet configured at least from cellulose fibers and thermoplastic resin fibers, the weight ratio between the cellulose fibers and the thermoplastic resin fibers (cellulose fibers : thermoplastic resin fibers) being 6.5:3.5 to 2:8, the thermoplastic fiber sheet characterized in that the WET strength is at least 7 N/cm and less than 20 N/cm.
