Abstract:
To provide a toilet seat device that even in the case of taking a heat diffusion part as a detection electrode and detecting seating on the basis of a variation in electrostatic capacitance, can inhibit erroneous detection with a simpler configuration.SOLUTION: A toilet seat device comprises: a toilet seat that includes an internal space and includes a seating surface and an inner surface facing the opposite side to the seating surface in the internal space; a heater that is provided in the internal space and warms the seating surface from inside via the inner surface; an electrically conductive heat diffusion unit for diffusing heat of the heater to the inner surface; a temperature sensor for detecting a temperature of the seating surface; a detection circuit for detecting electrostatic capacitance of the heat diffusion unit; and a control unit that on the basis of the electrostatic capacitance detected by the detection circuit, detects seating on the toilet seat and, on the basis of the temperature detected by the temperature sensor, controls electrification to the heater to heat the toilet seat to a predetermined temperature. The control unit corrects the electrostatic capacitance detected by the detection circuit, on the basis of electrification power to the heater.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
