Abstract:
To provide a toner that has a high amount of electrification, and reduces the likelihood of the occurrence of development streaks due to excessive electrification of toner even after a long period of printing.SOLUTION: A toner has a toner particle that has a core containing a resin component and a shell covering the surface of the core. The resin component contains a vinyl resin A having a monomer unit A represented by the formula (1). The content ratio of the monomer unit A in the vinyl resin A is 2.0 mass% or more and 80.0 mass% or less.
