Abstract:
To provide a toner that can achieve both quick electrification stability and prevention of the difference in electrification between old and new toners during toner supply even in an electrophotographic image forming apparatus that is further accelerated and extended in service life.SOLUTION: A toner contains a toner particle containing a binder resin, and strontium titanate particles and hydrotalcite particles on the surface of the toner particle. The hydrotalcite particles contain fluorine. In line analysis in STEM-EDS mapping analysis of the toner, fluorine exists inside the hydrotalcite particles. When the area ratio of the strontium titanate particles to the toner particle is defined as T1(%), and the area ratio of the hydrotalcite particles to the toner particle as H1(%) in the EDS measurement field of view, which are measured by the STEM-EDS mapping analysis of the toner, T1/H1 is 0.15-9.00.SELECTED DRAWING: None
