Abstract:
To provide a submerged pump which enables increase of a net pump head.SOLUTION: A submerged pump 100 is provided with a one-sided water passage 6 extending along a rotary shaft 1 at one side of a submerged pump body 100a and includes: an impeller 4 attached to one end 10a of the rotary shaft 1; and a pump casing 5 in which the impeller 4 is disposed. The pump casing 5 includes: a tongue part 53 disposed between a pump chamber 5a, in which the impeller 4 is disposed, and an inlet opening 6a of the one-sided water passage 6 when viewed in an axial direction of the rotary shaft 1; and a connection water passage 54 which is provided between an inner surface 55 of the pump casing 5 and the tongue part 53 when viewed in the axial direction of the rotary shaft 1 and directly connected to the inlet opening 6a from the upstream side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
