Abstract:
To provide a yarn winding device capable of accurately determining a state of a yarn on a guide roller and, in turn, capable of forming a high-quality yarn wound body.SOLUTION: A yarn winding device includes: a first swinging guide roller 11b and a second swinging guide roller 12b on which a first yarn L1 and a second yarn L2 are wound; a dancer member 3 to which the first swinging guide roller 11b and the second swinging guide roller 12b are connected; a first yarn detection sensor 15 and a second yarn detection sensor 16 which detect the first yarn L1 and the second yarn L2; and a dancer position detection sensor 17 which detects a position of the dancer member 3. A control unit 7 determines states of the first yarn L1 and the second yarn L2 based on detection results of the first yarn L1 and the second yarn L2 by the first yarn detection sensor 15 and the second yarn detection sensor 16 and detection results of the position of the dancer member 3 by the dancer position detection sensor 17.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
