Disclosed are a 5G Internet of Vehicles video acquisition device facilitating wiring, and a method for using same. The device comprises a mounting plate, a glass cover and an electric motor, wherein a mounting rod is welded to one side of the mounting plate, a movable groove is reserved in an inner wall of a fixed groove, a movable ball is mounted in the movable groove, a storage groove is provided in the bottom of the mounting rod, a mounting seat is welded to the bottom of the mounting rod, the electric motor is fixed in the mounting seat, a gear is connected to an output end of the electric motor, a limiting groove is provided in a lower end face of the mounting seat, a fluted disc is arranged in the limiting groove, a sweeping rod is fixed to the bottom of the fluted disc and is located at the lower end of the mounting seat, the glass cover is connected to the bottom of the mounting seat, and the glass cover is located on the inner side of the sweeping rod. The 5G Internet of Vehicles video acquisition device facilitating wiring can fix and protect a line, facilitate a wiring operation, and also can clean a glass cover on the outer side of a camera apparatus to prevent dust accumulation affecting the normal use of the apparatus.
