An absolute humidity sensor that has: a temperature sensor (21) that is arranged in an environment in which air is flowing and that outputs a temperature signal that is a sensor signal that corresponds to the temperature of the air; a relative humidity sensor (22) that is arranged in the abovementioned environment and outputs a relative humidity signal that is a sensor signal that corresponds to the relative humidity of the air; and an absolute humidity acquisition unit (24) that acquires the absolute humidity of the air from the temperature signal and the relative humidity signal. The temperature sensor and the relative humidity sensor are arranged in the abovementioned environment at different locations in the upstream-downstream direction of the flow of the air. The absolute humidity sensor has a delay adjustment unit (23a) that: delays the output of an upstream sensor that, of the temperature sensor and the relative humidity sensor, is arranged on the upstream side; and thereby coordinates the output change behavior of the temperature sensor and the relative humidity sensor with respect to changes in the state of the air. The absolute humidity acquisition unit acquires the absolute humidity from: the sensor signal from a downstream sensor that is arranged on the downstream side; and the sensor signal from the upstream sensor that has been delayed by the delay adjustment unit.
