Abstract:

Disclosed is an absorbent article which can impart a feeling of freshness on a user. The disclosed absorbent article (1) has an absorbent body (4) which absorbs bodily fluid of a user; a liquid permeable sheet (2) which covers one surface of the absorbent body (4) and through which the bodily fluid of the user permeates; and a liquid impermeable sheet (3) which covers the other surface of the absorbent body and through which the bodily fluid of the user does not permeate. Under the L*a*b* colour system, the L* value of the colour of the liquid permeable sheet (2) is at least 88, the a* value is 0-0.3, and the b* value is -8-0, and under the L*a*b* colour system the b* value of the colour of the absorbent body (4) is 1-5, and the L* value is at least 93.
