Abstract:
An absorbent article (1) including a pair of waist portions (20, 30) and an absorbent body (10), said absorbent article (1) characterized in that: the pair of waist portions (20, 30) includes a plurality of extendable members (231); the plurality of extendable members (231) include first extendable members (231a) having non-fixed portions (51) that are not fixed, and second extendable members (231b) having fixed portions (52) in which regions overlapping with at least a non-fixed portion (51) in the width direction are fixed; and, in a natural state, a force required to extend an extendable member (231b) adjacent to a first extendable member (231a) on one side in the longitudinal direction by a unit length in the width direction differs from a force required to extend an extendable member (231b) adjacent to said first extendable member (231a) on the other side in the longitudinal direction by a unit length in the width direction.
