Abstract:
This absorbent article has an elongated body comprising a skin-side top sheet, a non-skin-side back sheet on the side opposite from the skin side, and an absorber that is disposed between the top sheet and the back sheet. The absorbent article has, on a centerline extending along the longitudinal direction of the body in a gluteal cleft-facing region that faces the gluteal cleft of a wearer when worn, a low weight portion which is elongated in the longitudinal direction and at which the pulp weight of the absorber is lower than the pulp weight of at least the sides and rear of the low weight part. The width of the low weight part is 5-25% of the width of the absorber. Compression grooves that are depressed from the top sheet side to the back sheet side are formed at least in the top sheet and the absorber. The compression grooves include a protrusion-shaped rear compression groove that protrudes rearward and surrounds the rear end of the low weight portion.
