Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a hot-pressed member in which the amount of hydrogen penetrated during a hot pressing process is reduced, from which the penetrated hydrogen can be released within a short time, and which has excellent delayed fracture resistance properties. Provided is a hot-pressed member comprising a steel material, an Al-Fe-based intermetallic compound layer provided on at least one surface of the steel material and having a thickness of 10 to 35 μm, and a diffusion layer provided at the boundary between the Al-Fe-based intermetallic compound layer and the steel material, in which the Al-Fe-based intermetallic compound layer comprises an Al-rich phase having an Al concentration of 40% by mass or more and a Fe-rich phase having an Al concentration of less than 40% by mass, and the average length of the direction perpendicular to the thickness direction in a cross section of the Fe-rich phase is 10 μm or less.
