Abstract:
An absorbent pad (1) has an absorbent core (10), a skin-side sheet (2), and a non-skin-side sheet (3). At least at a central section of the longitudinal direction and the width direction of the absorbent pad (1), the skin-side sheet (2) is positioned on the side that is closest to the skin-side, and the non-skin-side sheet (3) is positioned on the side that is closest to the non-skin-side side. When the absorbent pad (1) is unfolded and stretched, the maximum thickness from the skin-side surface of the skin-side sheet (2) to the non-skin-side surface of the non-skin-side sheet (3) is 4.0 mm or less. When a pad compression test is conducted in which the absorbent pad (1) is folded into two panels at a folding position that extends along the width direction, the crotch side edge of the fold is pressed against a test stand, and the absorbent pad (1) is thereby compressed, the maximum load is 1.0 N or greater.
