Abstract:
The present invention comprises an acceleration sensor (20) that has at least an sx axis and an sy axis that are orthogonal to each other. The acceleration sensor (20) is provided to a vehicle such that a yaw installation angle that is the angle between a vehicle reference axis and an imaginary line that has been set between the sx axis and the sy axis is no more than ±15 degrees. The present invention also comprises: an acquisition unit (31) that, when the vehicle is accelerating in the vehicle front-rear direction but is not substantially accelerating in the vehicle width direction, acquires the acceleration in the sx axis direction and the acceleration in the sy axis direction from the acceleration sensor (20); and an installation angle calculation unit (37) that calculates the yaw installation angle from the acquired acceleration in the sx axis direction, the acquired acceleration in the sy axis direction, and an angle calculation formula that is derived using the capability of the tan value of the yaw installation angle to approximate the yaw installation angle assuming that the vehicle is accelerating in the vehicle front-rear direction but is not substantially accelerating in the vehicle width direction.
