Abstract:
An acceleration measuring device capable acquiring offset or both sensitivity and offset required for correcting an output from a 3-axis acceleration sensor. The device comprising an acceleration sensor (1) for detecting 3-axis-direction accelerations, a data acquisition unit (5A) for acquiring 3-axis output data, a data selection unit (13) for judging whether or not repeatedly acquired 3-axis data is appropriate and selecting data, a data accumulating unit (14) for accumulating selected 3-axis data, a reference point estimating unit (15) for estimating the coordinate values of a reference point defined in a three-dimensional orthogonal coordinate space from the distribution, in a three-dimensional orthogonal coordinate space when respective axis components are used as coordinate values, of accumulated specified number of elements of 3-axis output data, and an offset correction calculating unit (17) for correcting offset of 3-axis output data from the acceleration sensor (1) based on the coordinate values of a reference point.
