Abstract:
The present invention provides: an access port member which makes it possible to suppress a decrease in the durability of a valve part that would be caused by a cap part being fused and fixed to a body part; and a production method for the access port member. The present invention comprises: a body part 8 that has formed therein a flow path 8b through which blood flows and that has an opening 8c which is in communication with the flow path 8b; a valve part 9 that comprises an elastic member which is attached to an attachment part 8d of the body part 8 so as to cover the opening 8c, and that has formed therein a slit 9a which, upon being pressed on by the tip 11a of a syringe 11 capable of blood collection or drug administration, transitions from a closed state to an open state; a cap part 10 that is fused and fixed to the body part 8 so as to sandwich the valve part 9 with the slit 9a facing the outside; and a recess 8e that is formed in a position between the attachment part 8d and a fusion part Y1 of the body part 8.
