Abstract:
[Problem] To achieve manual aperture operation in an accessory that is installed between a camera body and an interchangeable lens that is incompatible with manual aperture operation. [Solution] This accessory (4), which can be installed between an image capturing device (3) and a lens device (2) having an aperture (23), has: a control part (44) for controlling communication with each of the lens device (2) and the image capturing device (3); and an operation member (43) that can be operated by a user. Also, the control part transmits, to the lens device, a control signal for driving the aperture according to the operation of the operation member (43), and transmits, to the image capturing device, information about the variable range of a setting value of the aperture.
