Abstract:
This accounting system (1) is configured by including an accounting device (10), an image capturing device (30), and a display (40). The display (40) is also used as a placement surface for a product. The image capturing device (30) captures an image of a product (P) placed on the display (40) and generates the image of the product (P). The accounting device (10) is provided with: a display control unit (110) which causes a background image of an image used in an identification process for the product (P) to be displayed on the display (40) for a prescribed time, when the image of the product (P) placed on the display (40) is captured; an image acquisition unit (120) which acquires a product identification image generated by capturing the image of the product (P) on the display (40), while the background image is displayed; and a product identification unit (130) which identifies the product (P) on the display (40) by analyzing the product identification image.
