Abstract:
The present invention is a method for producing a display device that comprises a display panel (110) which is formed with use of a flexible substrate; and this method for producing a display device comprises the following first to fourth steps. In the first step, a backside conductive film (130) is formed on the back surface of a supporting substrate (100). In the second step, a resin film that serves as a flexible substrate is formed on the front surface of the supporting substrate (100), and the display panel (110) is produced on the resin film. In the third step, the backside conductive film (130) is removed from the back surface of the supporting substrate (100). In the forth step, the supporting substrate (100) is irradiated with laser light from the back surface side so that the flexible substrate of the display panel (110) is separated from the supporting substrate (110). In addition, the hardness of the backside conductive film (130) is set to be higher than the hardness of the supporting substrate (100).
