Abstract:
This acoustic signal output device is provided with a driver unit and a housing in which the driver unit is housed. Here, an acoustic signal emitted from the driver unit to one side is defined as a first acoustic signal, and an acoustic signal emitted from the driver unit to the other side is defined as a second acoustic signal. A wall part of the housing has one or more first sound holes through which the first acoustic signal is guided to the outside and one or more second sound holes through which the second acoustic signal is guided to the outside. When a predetermined first position where the first acoustic signal reaches is used as reference, the rate of attenuation of the first acoustic signal at a second position farther from the acoustic signal output device than the first position is at most a predetermined value that is less than the rate of attenuation through propagation in air. Alternatively, when the first position is used as reference, the amount of attenuation of the first acoustic signal at the second position is at least a predetermined value that is more than the amount of attenuation through propagation in air.
