An additional charge/discharge activation protocol generating method according to the present invention is a method for generating a charge/discharge protocol in an additional charge/discharge step of an activation method including a jig formation step, an aging step, and the additional charge/discharge step for assembled secondary batteries. The method comprises the steps of: (a) repeating charging and discharging for one secondary battery between a first voltage and a second voltage higher than the first voltage to measure a thickness increase rate of the secondary battery over time; (b) fixing the second voltage and changing the first voltage, and then performing the step (a) one or more times on another secondary battery that is the same model as the secondary battery; (c) determining one of the first voltages as a lower limit voltage, except for the first voltage at the time at which the lowest rate is shown among the measured thickness increase rates of the secondary batteries; and (d) setting a protocol such that charging and discharging are repeated between the lower limit voltage and the second voltage.
