Abstract:
This actuator (42) is used in order to change an illumination direction of a vehicle lamp, the actuator comprising: a rotating member that rotates in conjunction with the rotation of a motor; a rod (44) that has a connecting part connecting to a mechanism for tilting an optical member of the vehicle lamp, the rod being coaxially coupled to the rotating member so as to be capable of relative rotation; a housing (56) in which an opening (56c) that the rod enters/exits is formed; and a holding member (60) that inhibits rattling of the rod (44) in the direction intersecting the enter/exit direction of the rod, while slidably holding the rod in the enter/exit direction, the holding member being fitted to the opening (56c). The rod slides relative to the holding member (60) by rotation being restricted by the holding member (60) when the rotating member rotates.
