Abstract:
An actuator is provided with a case, a stopper which is provided to the case so as to extend in the protrusion direction, a worm wheel which is provided to the case, an engagement protrusion which protrudes from the worm wheel, and a torsion coil spring which is housed within the worm wheel. The engagement protrusion makes contact with the stopper to restrict the worm wheel to a predetermined initial position. The torsion coil spring has a first leg which is engaged with the stopper and a second leg which is engaged with the engagement protrusion at a position further toward the outside in the protrusion direction than the stopper. The torsion coil spring presses the worm wheel in the direction in which the engagement protrusion makes contact with the stopper.
