Abstract:
An actuator body (11) is formed from multiple artificial muscles (12). Each of the artificial muscles (12) has an elastic tube (13) and a braided cord tube (15) provided on the outside thereof. A first outer cylindrical body (21) is fitted on one end of the actuator body (11) and a second outer cylindrical body (22) is fitted on the other end of the actuator body (11). On the inside of the first outer cylindrical body (21) and the second outer cylindrical body (22), adhesion sections (23, 24) are provided. The adhesion sections (23, 24) adhere the elastic tubes (13) to the braided cord tubes (15), adhere the first outer cylindrical body (21) to the artificial muscles (12), and adhere the second outer cylindrical body (22) to the artificial muscles (12).
