Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an optical film which can be produced efficiently and which suppresses unevenness in display. A further purpose of the present invention is to provide an optical film manufacturing method for manufacturing said optical film, and a polarizing plate and a liquid crystal display device provided with said optical film. This optical film has a slow axis in a direction inclined with respect to the longitudinal direction and has a cyclo-olefin resin as the primary component, and is characterized in that the film thickness is 30 µm or less, the in-plane retardation value Ro is in the range 80-180 nm, and the film thickness deviation in the width direction is 2.0 µm or less.
