Abstract:
An additive which, when added even in a small amount to a cement composition containing fly ash, satisfactorily disperses the fly ash. It prevents the cement composition from fluctuating in flowability with fluctuating unburned carbon content. The additive for cement compositions containing fly ash comprises (A) a nitrogenous polyoxyalkylene derivative represented by the general formula (1) and (B) a polycarboxylic acid copolymer having a polyoxyalkylene chain as essential ingredients (provided that R1 represents hydrogen or a C1-22 hydrocarbon group; R2 represents C1-4 alkylene; A1O represents one or more C2-4 oxyalkylene groups, wherein the two or more groups may be in block or random arrangement; p is 0-20; q is 0-20; r is 1-10; s is 0-2; and t is 0-2).
