Abstract:
An adsorption core provided with a heating medium pipe (21), through the interior of which circulates a heating medium, and an adsorbent (24) which adsorbs the water vapor on the exterior of the heating medium pipe (21) by being cooled by means of the heating medium and which desorbs the adsorbed water vapor by being heated, wherein: the heating medium pipe (21) has a core (21a) which is formed from a metal that has a greater hardness than copper, and a cover layer (21b) which is formed from copper and which covers the outer surface of the core (21a); a mixed sintered body of copper powder (23b) and the adsorbent (24) is provided to the peripheral part (22) of the heating medium pipe (21); and the copper powder (23b) and the heating medium pipe (21) are metallically joined. As a consequence, it is possible to increase the stiffness of the heating medium pipe while improving the heat transfer property between the heating medium pipe and the adsorbent.
