Abstract:
An adult disposable diaper 1 according to the present invention comprises an absorbent body 2, a laminated sheet 3 enveloping the absorbent body 2, and left and right upright gathering parts 4, 5. The diaper is divided into a front section F, a middle section M, and a back section B. The absorbent body 2 comprises left and right first notches 8, 9 in a boundary region between the front section F and the middle section M, and comprises left and right second notches 10, 11 in a boundary region between the middle section M and the back section B. The laminated sheet 3 comprises left and right third notches 18, 19 that extend toward the first notches 8, 9 in the boundary region between the front section F and the middle section M. Left and right thigh absorbent bodies 6, 7 that are used by being folded so as to face each other along the inner thigh in the crotch of the wearer are formed on the left and right sides of the absorbent body 2 in the middle section M. Elastic bodies 22a–22d are disposed in regions of the laminated sheet 3 at the bases of the left and right thigh absorbent bodies 6, 7 on a side opposite the wearer-facing side.
