The aerosol-generating device of the disclosure includes a housing comprising an insertion space in communication with an exterior of the housing; an elongated probe coupled to the housing and comprising a first end, wherein the elongated probe is movable from the insertion space to an interior of the housing; and a pressure sensor coupled to the housing and located adjacent to the first end of the elongated probe.
