Abstract:
An air cleaning apparatus (1) is provided with: a collecting filter (52) for collecting dust; a first ultraviolet light emitting body (60A) for radiating ultraviolet rays (UV1) having a first wavelength onto the collecting filter (52); and a photocatalyst-supporting filter (51) for collecting dust and supporting a photocatalyst exhibiting photocatalytic activity by the ultraviolet rays (UV1) having the first wavelength; the collecting filter (52) transmitting the ultraviolet rays (UV1) having the first wavelength, and the ultraviolet rays (UV1) having the first wavelength transmitted through the collecting filter (52) being radiated onto the photocatalyst-supporting filter (51).
