Abstract:
Provided is a wind power generation system which, as an apparatus, is simpler than those of the prior art, and for which operation and maintenance are easy. A wind power generation system in which two towing cables, in which a plurality of wind-receiving blades that open and close in accordance with wind direction are attached at fixed intervals, are formed in a loop configuration, and these towing cables are stretched over a rotary wheel for an electric generator and one or a plurality of rotation support means, the wind power generation system being characterized in that the wind-receiving blades have two plates and a shaft secured at the top and bottom by the towing cables, the two plates are each turnably attached at one edge to the shaft, and the other edge of each plate is a free end.
